Ms. Shannon 

Ms. Shannon Chapman-Watson has been teaching early childhood dance classes for the past 10+ years.  She currently holds her MA in Dance Education from NYU as well as being an accomplished ABT certified teacher.  She has taught in private studios, public schools, and preschools in addition to facilitating the launch of the ABTtots program in 2019.

After completing her undergraduate degree at SUNY Binghamton Shannon enrolled in the Broadway Dance Center training program where she studied under the mentorship of   award-winning choreographer, Tracy Stanfeild. In 2012 Ms. Chapman- Watson opened the doors of Connecticut Dance Center (CDC) in Stamford, CT with Tamara Saari.  Here she was able to explore her passion as an educator; under her direction students at CDC performed in The Nutcracker NYC, the NYC Dance Parade, and the CT Walk for Wishes along with being featured in the Children's Museum of Movement, (New York, NY). 

 Shannon has also had the privilege of performing for some incredible dance companies such as Moving Bodies Dance, DanceKerr & Dancers, and Roza Dance Company in renowned venues such as Radio City Musical Hall, Alvin Ailey CitiGroup Theater,  and The 92stY.


Ms. Chapman-Watson currently is teaching in the midlands, at USC, Ann Brodie's Center for Dance Education, and Mrs. Jenkins Dance Academy. 

Ms. Julia 

Julia Turner graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Masters of Music Education degree where she specialized in early childhood and elementary music education. She will be teaching Pk-5 elementary general music at A.C. Moore Elementary School starting in the fall. During her time at USC, she worked as a graduate assistant and taught early childhood and elementary music classes at St. Peter’s Catholic School, USC Music Play, and Tempo Music and Arts. She also currently teaches preschool music classes at Shandon Weekday School. Julia has taught early childhood music in preschool and parent-child class settings for the past five years and is excited to bring her music classes to this new setting!
